Hey Alexa – Get me an MTO

Sheetz Inc has launched an Amazon Alexa app enabling customers to order their favorite food item from their favorite store.  By saying ‘ask Sheetz to order my favorite’, an order is placed and ready when the customer arrives at the store.

This innovation, announced by Sheetz AVP of brand strategy Ryan Sheetz, is an extension of Sheetz’s goal of “to continue to innovate and reinvent ourselves in order to provide the ultimate convenience to our customers.”

As gas stations have evolved into convenience stores and then added QSR food offerings, technology has played a role in simplifying the ordering process, inventory management process and enhancing the customer experience.
